Our Mission
Forming and implementing state policy in the sphere of national гemembrance of the Ukrainian people through preserving historical truth, condemning crimes against Ukraine, and promoting the struggle for independence.
FOUR KEY TASKS
1. Formation of National Memory State Policy
Ensuring the formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of national гemembrance, developing strategies and coordinating the activities of government bodies.
2. Collection and Dissemination of Historical Information
Collecting, summarizing and publishing information in Ukraine and abroad about crimes against the Ukrainian people, the history of state-building and the struggle for independence, including oral history testimonies.
3. Expert and Law Enforcement Activities
Providing conclusions and recommendations on the implementation of relevant legislation, approval of normative acts, work of expert commissions in the sphere of national гemembrance of the Ukrainian people.
4. Commemorative and Educational Activities
Organizing memorial events, creating educational content, promoting museum and publishing activities, working with the public and youth.

The State Archive of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance
The main tasks of the State Archive of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance are to ensure the search, acceptance, accounting, and storage of documents of repressive bodies, as well as the use of information contained in them, and to ensure the right of access to information contained in such documents and reference apparatus to them for all interested persons.
